I tend to lengthen the length of New Years. You know, the same way people over-exaggerate their birthdays; start a countdown a month before and don’t stop reminding people of their birthday until every last one of them has given them a present. I feel that way about New Years. With good reason. Birthdays mark the celebration of one person’s birth. Well, obviously. Birth-days. New Years marks the celebration of every single person’s new year, new beginning. And so, if a birthday can be stretched out a month, I think New Years can at least be stretched out two days. At least. And in those two days, New Years should definitely be gift-worthy. Because the whole point I’m trying to make here is that New Years is way bigger than birthdays. So, in accordance with my belief, I’ve found you all gifts to buy yourselves to celebrate your new beginnings.  What gifts, you ask? Cheap gifts. Actually, they’re not cheap at all. But still cheaper than they were originally. That’s what The Outnet does, after all. And this morning when I stumbled onto The Outnet, I found some amazing ones. Ones that I couldn’t resist admiring. And obviously had to share with you.
Yes, we’re talking serious business. Brands business. Brands, brands, brands galore! All of my favorites, to be exact. And all on sale. Number one, a pair of perfect Carven slingbacks, scratch that, slingbows in our favorite color, black. Number two, a Christopher Kane skirt that is both neon and lace. At the same time! Number three, a utility jacket that beats all utility jackets by McQ Alexander Mcqueen. It’s two shades of green, drawsting, and could be worn with absolutely anything. Number four, a Proenza Schouler midi dress that can be worn with anything over or under. Take note of the picture-perfect black detailing. Number five, a Christopher Kane neon, lace, sheer moto-styled jacket. Enough said. Six, Guiseppe Zanotti lace-up booties. The black leather, cropped, pocketed, vest that is number seven is Alexander Wang. Also, on sale! (Obviously.) Also Alexander Wang, number eight are lace-up booties with a great stacked heel and suede and patent maroon detailing. Some say that maroon is the color of last season but I don’t care. I love them anyway. Number nine is a floral printed See By Chloe skirt that can be worn with anything. I would consider adding skinny black pants under and a printed button-up up top. And last, but most definitely not least, number ten: a Thakoon knotted romper. Perfect for summer just as is or winter with tights underneath and a floral blazer over it. No matter which piece you like best, The Outnet has something for you…
Happy shopping! And happy New Year! (That’s the last time I wish you that, promise.)
